Responsibilities;

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team in the exciting field of connected cars. As a Data Analyst, your primary focus will be to leverage data to identify, develop, and implement use cases and applications aimed at delivering performance and efficiency improvements within our organization. You will play a crucial role in analyzing vast amounts of data generated by connected cars to drive actionable insights and optimize operational efficiency.

  • Data Analysis and Insight Generation: Conduct thorough analysis of connected car data, utilizing statistical techniques and data mining methods to uncover patterns, correlations, and trends that can be leveraged for performance and efficiency improvements.
  • Use Case Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to identify and define use cases that can lead to performance enhancements and efficiency gains, such as optimizing fuel consumption, improving vehicle maintenance processes, or streamlining supply chain operations.
  • Data Modeling and Visualization: Develop and maintain data models and visualization dashboards to present key findings and insights to stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
  • Performance Monitoring: Implement tracking mechanisms and performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of initiatives focused on delivering performance and efficiency improvements, providing recommendations for continuous enhancement.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of connected car data through data validation and cleansing activities, working closely with IT and data engineering teams.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with various internal teams to understand their specific requirements, effectively communicate findings, and provide support in implementing data-driven solutions.
  • Stay Abreast of Industry Trends: Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices in connected car technologies, data analytics, and performance optimization to suggest innovative approaches and strategies.

Background and Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the automotive industry or a related field.
  • Data Analytics Skills: Proficiency in data analysis techniques, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with connected car technologies, telematics, and automotive data sources (e.g., CAN bus, GPS, vehicle sensors) is highly desirable.
  • Strong Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data sets, derive meaningful insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations for performance and efficiency improvements.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to tackle business challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
