General information:

Lead the execution of medium-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will be leading the project team with clear guidelines, tasks, and milestones, while motivating and providing feedback.
  • You will define, jointly with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, risk management plans and ensure that the project follows execution best practices and Hitachi energy policies. You will effectively monitor and control project progress and efficient resource utilization.
  • You will monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow, identify, qualify, quantify, manage project risks, ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • You will capture, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project, ensure that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed and drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer. You will ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual agreements.
  • You will coordinate with Supply Chain Management, successfully procures required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers and support Supply Chain Management in supplier negotiation, claim and project change.
  • You will act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues, build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in handling the small to medium size domestic and international projects.
  • Good command of English & Mandarin and communication skills.
