As a Regional Sales Manager (f/m/d) of our Orthopaedic Instruments (OI) and Surgical Technologies (ST) sales team in the Sweden and Denmark, you are responsible for driving growth and developing the sales team consisting of 9 people. You thrive in working in a fast-paced environment and know that relationships both internal and external are key to success. In addition, you love to develop people and have excellent communication skills.

The Job’s Mission:

We are looking for a talented, highly motivated sales leader who will be responsible for driving our OI & ST business in Sweden and Denmark. You will be part of an achievement driven sales team and responsible for the management of your sales territory, the leadership of your team, as well as sales/turnover and cost – so that optimized customer service and acquisition of new customers is guaranteed. You will report to the Business Unit Manager, OI & ST, Northern Europe. 

Your key responsibilities:

The Regional Sales Manager (f/m/d) Sweden and Denmark will be a member of the Instruments Northern Europe Leadership team, and responsible for the revenue targets of the region.

  • Lead and inspire a team to achieve and exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Develop and lead the commercial strategy for your region, by incorporating Marketing, Key Accounts, Flex Finance, ProCare, and X-Div.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts each month.
  • Contribute to the creation and the execution of the annual marketing plan.
  • Manage key customer relationships (existing and new), aimed at retaining and growing the business and reputation of Stryker in the market.
  • Drive performance through comprehensive coaching, mentorship, and tailored training programs, focusing on individual skill enhancement.
  • Implement effective strategies to identify and nurture high-potential individuals, fostering a robust succession plan for future leadership roles.

Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related discipline preferred.
  • +5 years of proven track record in sales ideally acquired in the healthcare sector.
  • Experience as a sales leader and management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in contributing and executing on a marketing budget and plan.
  • Proven experience in delivering market share growth and financial commitments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills and strong cross-functional influencing skills & teamwork.
  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills (C1 level) in English, Danish or Swedish, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • You hold a valid driver’s license.

Additional Information

  • Travel activity with your company car in the sales area can be up to 80%, including occasional overnight stays at external locations.
  • Depending on the scheduling of your workweek, you will spend the remaining time working from home.
