Description

MISSION:

_To bring the category seasonal creative direction and product stories to life through the design and execution of compelling rig spaces and tools. To provide an end-in-mind point-of-view within the product design organization.

FOCUS:

_Visually communicates the seasonal category creative narrative through 2D and 3D presentation tools including lookbooks, presentations, and rig room environments.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

_Under the direction of Design Leadership, leads physical rig build outs and content creation for seasonal creative direction and design concepts to ensure consistency cross functionally.

_Directs the overall look and environment for design-led creative presentations and reviews (including rig rooms and meeting spaces).

_Art direction and execution of support tools to maintain a cohesive visual story including (but not limited to) lookbooks / inspiration books / handouts, installation of spaces, photo / video shoots, and other visual communication tools.

_Partners with Design Leadership Team, Apparel & Footwear Design Directors, Design Operations and Product Management, Merch, and Brand counterparts when applicable.

_Directs, manages and leads a team to execute against the vision. Manages team and sets team and individual goals that align with department and function goals. Develops team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance.



Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILL TO ADVANCE TO THIS LEVEL:

_Bachelor's degree in Design or related field and 10+ years' design experience demonstrating creative sophistication in concepts and design (2 additional years of experience in lieu of degree).

_Proven ability to apply and perform 2D/3D design skills at an expert level.

_Expert-level knowledge of trends in the footwear and apparel industry.

_Ability to balance creativity and bottom line business needs.

_Experience in leading physical build outs/environments, Art Direction and photoshoots.

_Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.

_Proven ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate with other key decision makers in a complex matrix environment.
