Job Description

We are now looking for a Client Solution Specialist for Watson Health Imaging. Client Solution Specialists are technical consultants to clients, IBM sales teams and/or IBM Business Partners. They understand the client's business requirements, technical requirements and/or competitive landscape. They provide technical sales support which may include: collaborate with IBM sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions; deliver Proof of Concept; develop and deliver technical education; support critical situations; design solutions; and answer technical questions. When engaged for a specific opportunity or project, they are responsible for the technical accuracy of the proposed solution.

As a consultative, client-facing, technical professional, you will be guided by IBM's purpose – to be essential to its clients - actively engaging clients to develop the trust and credibility to help them grow their businesses by solving strategic and tactical business problems with IBM’s proven cognitive and cloud technology solutions.

Job role requires sound technical knowledge, proven business acumen and differentiating client interfacing ability.
 
The Client Solution Specialist works with Watson Health Sellers and IBM Business Partners to determine define use cases and customer requirements, create configurations and proposals, respond to RFP and RFQ's, assist with Proof of Concept testing and follow through on sales post installation. Presentation skills and a deep understanding of cognitive and cloud technologies and how to position winning solutions to customers, are required.

In this role you will also be responsible for navigating IBM to identify and acquire critical resources needed to develop the best solution for the client, while applying IBM brand strategies and offerings, methods and models, to ensure world-class design and delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engage clients to determine and prioritize appropriate use cases for Watson Health Imaging
  • Develop and deliver custom briefings for customers, leveraging an understanding of customer mission needs
  • Analyze varying user processes to determine how Watson fits into their workflows
  • Lead Watson workshops for clients to provide knowledge and training
  • Engage internal and external customers to educate users on the entire Watson Portfolio
  • Maintain client relationships as a trusted advisor on Watson solutions

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • PhD or equivalent clinical experience
  • Experience in clinical imaging R&D or in Machine Learning and/or Image Analytics and/or Data Science research.
  • Ability to articulate technology concepts to both high-level business audiences and highly clinical or technical individuals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to clearly explain and simplify complex concepts gauging the depth and detail of explanation to the recipient.
  • Problem solving and project management skills
