About the position

Come join our thrilling journey as we scale up one of our Defence products, SitaWare Aspire, a learning app that will change the learning experience for more than 1 million soldiers around the world. We're expanding our team in Denmark and Romania, and we're looking for passionate colleagues to be a part of it. You will be working with SitaWare Aspire, our digital in-app training platform that provides realistic and hands-on experience for soldiers around the world.

The platform integrates the operational SitaWare suite into the training environment, offering in-app exercises and a digital instructor to support trainees as they learn how to use the SitaWare products. This position is based in Bucharest where you will be part of our team consisting of 18 skilled colleagues based in Romania and Denmark. Your Daily Impact as a Senior Developer

As a Senior Systems Engineer you will be responsible for leading feature development and describing design, doing documentation, and helping in building a strong team in Bucharest.

In addition to that, some of your key tasks will be to:

  • Drive design and implement solutions for new features
  • Code review/inspection
  • Conduct technical assessment of new candidates for employment
  • Knowledge sharing and sparring with other developers
  • Role model when it comes to coding, facilitation and conducting scrum.

Technologies used:

You shall have at least 5 years of experience with one of the technologies we use:

  • JavaScript/Typescript
  • Java/Kotlin
  • Gradle
  • Docker

Practical information

  • Travel might be expected to our Headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark
  • We work with security classified projects, therefore, as a Systematic employee, you must have a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years. Additionally, it is a requirement to obtain a security clearance when working in our Defence Business Unit. Please read more here.
