Are you driven to advance medical research in some Therapeutic Area as OSCD, CVD, RareD, Obesity & Diabetes? We are in search of adept Clinical Medical Managers specializing in Cardiology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Nephrology to join our dynamic team. Your role will be instrumental in spearheading groundbreaking clinical trials, contributing to the advancement of healthcare on a global scale.

The Position

As CMM (Clinical Medical Manager) you will facilitate the seamless execution of clinical trials by leveraging your medical and scientific expertise. Your responsibilities will include providing invaluable medical and scientific advice, informed by extensive interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), independent professional associations, and patient advocacy associations. This role is fully dedicated to clinical researches. The job location is São Paulo, SP. Your responsabilities includes:

  • Identify and map KOLs, investigators, and research centers within relevant therapy areas, collaborating closely with clinical operations teams across regions during feasibility and allocation processes.
  • Engage with patient advocacy groups, exploring mutual interests and potential collaborations, while collecting valuable medical insights and disseminating them regionally and cross-functionally within the local affiliate/CDC.
  • Discuss relevant early development data with external medical and scientific experts, optimizing the feasibility process, and regularly engage with clinical experts in relevant therapy areas for guidance on clinical trial execution.
  • Ensure proper training on the scientific background of the trial for site staff at main and referral centers, acting as a subject matter expert in New Therapy Areas, and providing leadership in the scientific community through advisory boards and meetings.
  • Drive scientific discussions during site selection and initiation visits for successful clinical trials (phase I-IV), support investigator meetings, and contribute to scientific retention and recruitment activities at the local level.
  • Maintain continuous dialogue with investigators, site staff, and relevant stakeholders for smooth study conduct and insights collection, supporting the process of Investigator-Sponsored studies, evaluating proposals, and ensuring follow-up after approval in collaboration with the local Medical Affairs team.

Qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, specializing in Cardiology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Nephrology.
  • You have fluent proficiency in both oral and written English.
  • We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate a substantial background in the clinical or pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on human healthcare research, gained from either academic or industry environments.
  • We highly value a candidate who exhibits a comprehensive understanding of the local healthcare infrastructure, along with in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical drug development processes. Preferably, the candidate should have experience as a clinical trial investigator or sub-investigator.
  • We would like to see a candidate with Expertise in the relevant therapeutic area, substantiated by authored contributions to peer-reviewed journals.
