"For the construction sites of E&C Kobe products, a Construction Manager is delegated to site as represents to perform construction in good communication with the Client in his responsibilities.
The Construction Manager is accountable to complete the installation and erection on time in safety, In his capacity as the Construction Manager, he or she has the greatest influence on the project execution, starting from construction start up to mechanical completion.
As a part of the Global E&C Solutions Site Management organization, the Construction Manager is mainly responsible to manage the field activities during the Construction and Pre-/Commissioning phase of the site assigned to him, as well as to assist during the Commissioning phase if necessary.
The Construction Manager has the following responsibilities;
Ensure Safety environment and safety of all people working at site.
Leads and guides the team of Superintendents and Supervisors with emphasis on safety, quality, and schedule.
Construction manager leads the site team including site subcontractor, and maintains the relationships with clients, authorities and all stakeholders and coordinates all involved parties and takes required actions.
Communicate with the client, Project manager and E&C management regularly on the status, progress and risk situation of the construction.
Manages the interfaces between disciplines at site as well as between the subcontractors.
Demonstrates an inter-discipline mindset, intellectual and honest profile.
Demonstrates beside technical experience a strong management and leadership capability.
Provides and reports realistic and reliable forecasts on man-hour consumption, quantities and achievement of milestones.
Ensures the quality of construction/installation works according to contract requirements.
