What to Expect

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to join our team at Tesla. In the Technical Program Manager – BOP, Commercial Service position you will be responsible for the systemization and streamlined execution of the maintenance program for medium voltage and control equipment that support Tesla’s Commercial Energy products. The successful candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive program framework, manage relationships with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive framework for the BOP program, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Manage relationships with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations and Maintenance and EHS to ensure effective collaboration and communication
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with BOP equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and lead new processes and procedures in support of BOP program goals 
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop technical solutions for fleet issues and improve the overall performance of BOP equipment
  • Collaborate with Safety, Engineering and Training teams on electrical safety procedures and best practices

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, operations and maintenance, with a strong focus on O&M of large-scale energy facilities
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve program goals
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to industrial electrical projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex information and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Expected Compensation

$100,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
