Quality Analyst I – Beloit, WI

IFF's Beloit plant produces a portfolio of protein-based products that caters primarily to the Grain Processing, Animal nutrition and Brewing industries. Utilizing a Trichoderma based fermentation platform allows the plant to optimize cost and operational structure in ways that are superior to other facilities. What our pay and schedule looks like:

  • 1.5x pay for Sundays
  • 3x pay for company holidays
  • 8-hour shift Monday-Friday
  • Work one weekend every 6 weeks

You Will Spend Your Time... 

Quality Analysts utilize documented analytical chemistry and microbiological methods to support the production of enzymes for a variety of industrial markets. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Chemical reagent and micro media preparation
  • Sample management and data entry
  • Analytical and microbiological testing
  • Manual sample dilutions with pipets and volumetric glassware
  • Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting lab equipment including pH meters, auto analyzers, HPLCs, autoclaves, and pipets
  • Managing special projects/programs

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent 3-5 years work experience in manufacturing QAQC 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Accurate data entry
  • Experience with aseptic technique
  • Adherence to general lab hygiene and safety practices
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
