Sales Manager – Govt .Business

Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for achieving Business Results (Topline and Profitability) in Government Segment in India.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Integrity and Compliance – in letter and in spirit – lead by example.
  • Achieve Overall Sales Revenue and Gross Margins for Government Segment
  • Achieve Product-wise Sales Revenue and Profit in Government Segment including:
  • All Public Institutions ranging from Defense, Central Govt., State Govt. Autonomous bodies, Premier Educational Institutions, Govt. Medical Colleges. Health Facilities belonging to PSUs.
  • Crystallize Government Business Strategy in consultation with Managing Director/ Marketing Team.
  • Constantly Engage with Govt. Managers coaching them to be & with identified Sales Team members to win Government Business (Not Direct Reports
  • Identify stakeholders and build excellent working relationships in Government Segment including:
  • End Users/ Technical Heads
  • Heads of identified Government Healthcare Institutions
  • Relevant Executives within Government machinery
  • Drive a culture of Voice and Dignity, Candor and Transparency.
  • Create Monthly Dashboard of Key Performance Indicators and track at all levels.
  • Leverage Sales Analytics for tracking Government Segment.
  • Build and maintain up to date Government Sales Funnel with inputs from regions / other stakeholders
  • Keep track of all outstanding EMDs and Security Deposits
  • Work with Service / application support team to ensure timely installation of all Hardware / software supplied to government segment.
  • Plan and run new initiatives for enhanced business expansion- example PPP
  • Ensure 100% compliance in all Government Business in line with company policies.

Most Important Competencies Required:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in or a Bachelor of Science from a recognized university.
  • MBA / equivalent in Marketing-Finance though not essential but preferred.
  • 8+ years of Minimum experience in Sales / Marketing in Healthcare Equipments Industry
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in handling Govt Business independently.
