Central Supplier Quality Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Manage the supplier components qualification for new projects
- Manage supplier quality activities from prototype to serial phase in given projects
- Perform technical analysis and root cause analyses
- Coordinate daily activities with other SQA engineers and project cross functional team
- Support supplier’s industrialization and validation processes
- Perform preventive audits
- Ensure the quality goals of suppliers are met to improve customer satisfaction and reduce quality costs
- Monitor and report the supplier's quality performance through the appropriate indicators
- Support and validate problem resolution actions in serial production and also in new launches
To be successful in this Role you must have:
- University degree, technical background is an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing supplier quality role in the automotive industry
- Advanced level of English & Polish, German is an asset
- Preferred experience with plastic and/or assembly commodities
- Core quality tools knowledge as 8D, APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and PPAP methodology, knowledge of VDA standards
- Willingness to travel (approximately around 45%)
- Knowledge in problem solving methodologies
- Negotiation and communication skills
- Very good organization, interpersonal skills
