We are seeking a knowledgeable network analyst to ensure that our computer network enhances business operations. In this role, your duties will include analyzing network performance, providing network support, and performing system maintenance tasks. To ensure success as a network analyst, you should exhibit extensive experience in configuring networks and providing IT support. POSITION SUMMARY: The network analyst will ensure that the company’s network and telecom infrastructure enhances it’s business

operations. Duties will include analyzing network performance metrics, providing network analytics, reporting with

Service Now, telecom support, cloud wireless, vendor management, and system maintenance tasks.

I. Position Responsibilities

  • Analyzing, reporting, and monitoring network performance with software tools.
  • Providing network support and resolving connectivity issues for hospitals.
  • Assisting the Senior network engineers with projects and support.
  • Configuring Cisco hardware and software to optimize network communications.
  • Setting up LAN and WAN networks, as well as Voice Over IP.
  • Managing IP addresses and resolving conflicts.
  • Monitoring and maintaining LAN network services including cloud based Wi-Fi, security protocols, and telecom standards.
  • Performing system administration tasks and ensuring network security.
  • Documenting processes and monitoring network performance metrics.
  • Consulting with internal departments and training other IT support staff.
  • Staying current with advancements in network technologies and solutions.

  • Maintains the highest level of customer service via courtesy, compassion and positive communication.
  • Promotes the mission and vision of PAM Health within the work environment and the community.
  • Respects dignity and confidentiality by adherence to all applicable policies and procedures.

III. Health and Safety

  • Works in a manner that promotes safety; wears clothing appropriate to the performance of the job.
  • Participates in OSHA required training.
  • Follows universal precautions as appropriate for position; complies with Employee Health requirements

for continued employment.

  • Reports unsafe practices to management.
  • Knows own role in case of an emergency.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Training: Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a network analyst or similar role supporting Cisco LAN and WAN hardware.

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to travel within the United States for projects and deployments.
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and network installation planning.
  • Exceptional ability to provide network support to many vendors and resolve issues for LAN, WAN, Wireless,

and telecom related installs and problems.

  • Extensive experience with Cisco, Aerohive wireless, Ring Central, and Dell hardware.
  • Advanced knowledge of network setup and security for routers and switches.
  • Proficiency in documenting network installs, reporting, and monitoring performance metrics with
  • SolarWinds and other tools.

Exceptional communication skills.
