An IS Support Analyst is an IT expert who oversees user and AV support. Responsible for the set-up, implementation, maintenance, operation and the trouble-shooting of computer systems including Windows, MacOS and iOS systems. Also, serves as a technical expert in the area of AV technology systems.

 

Provide support for a variety of technical issues – examples include: desktop, laptop hardware and software, network troubleshooting, device configuration, management and support.  Create and manage configuration scripts using Puppet Labs Enterprise management tools.

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting desktop system, AV, printer and operating problems
  • Consulting and instructing users on hardware and software questions/issues
  • Collaborate with and act as a liaison to outsourced desktop support teams
  • Install, maintain and upgrade equipment and its associated infrastructure
  • Assist in enterprise-wide rollouts of new operating systems and software
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems
  • Responds to telephone calls, email and dispatched requests for technical support
  • Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution
  • Assists in the design and maintenance of Microsoft and Apple deployment technologies

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have:

  • Good understanding of creative workflows
  • Support experience including expert level support of Mac/Windows computers, IPhone, iPad
  • Experience with Mac OS X (10.6 through present), Windows (7 through present), knowledge of SMB and CIFS protocol
  • Working knowledge of systems in an Active Directory Domain environment
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Understanding of basic networking technologies (LAN/WAN and wireless)
  • Strong customer focus and enthusiasm for achieving excellence
  • 3+ years supporting and maintaining user systems
  • Self-starter that is able to collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team
  • Proven attention to detail and high standards for quality
  • Excellent organizational/administrative/technical skills with agility to re-prioritize as necessary
