LinkedIn’s team of Learning Account Executives are taking our Learning solution to the underpenetrated ANZ market. In doing so, are expanding and cross-selling Learning into LinkedIn’s existing customer base.

We are looking for a LinkedIn Learning Account Executive to join our team to accelerate this growth. You will be the lead Learning consultant across six sales territories managed by local Account Managers. This co-selling model allows you to leverage the existing account relationships among your internal colleagues to gain stronger, warmer leads. You will strategically approach target companies and teams, identify the best talent marketplace setup and sell corporate solutions for eLearning. Although you strive to meet and exceed quota, you will always act in the best interest of the client. This team works on some of the most complex and strategic learning deals in our business and there has never been a better time to be a part of the story that shapes LinkedIn’s future.

  • Exposure to learning opportunities with the team that spans all ANZ segments (Enterprise, Mid-Market, Government)

  • Ability to develop and circulate the set of best practices that will be the foundation of ANZ’s expansion

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and build pipeline in collaboration with the Account Director in a shared territory and build strong personal relationships with prospects
  • Manage a sales cycle end to end ensuring customer value and experience is paramount
  • Create reliable forecasts and be completely transparent with management on the pipeline status
  • Close new business consistently at or above quota level
  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan for the territory and distribute competitive information
  • Invest in colleagues and give coaching and advice when you see an opportunity for improvement
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with product and marketing teams
  • Be proactive about solving problems even if it’s outside of your area and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge
  • Seek out opportunities to be a leader and do everything you can to help the company achieve its larger objectives

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of applicable sales experience in e-learning and/or employee experience/engagement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions
  • Experience with learning and development or HR software
  • Experience with SaaS opportunities and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience selling IT or e-learning solutions
  • Ability to forge and maintain good partner relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience in using quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess customer relationships and make recommendations for each account
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced work environment and demonstrate thoughtful leadership in assessing and solving customer problems/opportunities
  • Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills
  • Ability to manage many prospect situations simultaneously while positioning company products against direct and indirect competitors
