This is an extraordinary opportunity to join the world’s leading exchange company as a QA Test Specialist in the NCSD project at Nasdaq. You will be part of a team responsible for delivering a highly sophisticated application for Central Securities Depository (CSD) around the world. It is an advanced system with very high demands on quality and performance and it is built with leading edge Java technology and tools.

You will work in a cross-functional scrum team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Developers and Test Engineers. According to our QA process, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing test specifications, execute scenarios, trouble shoot errors, report faults and recommend corrective measures. We work in close cooperation with our customers and in your role you will have a great opportunity to support them in early testing and acceptance testing.

 

This position is an exciting opportunity to develop your personal, technical, and leadership skills while gaining an extensive knowledge of the exchange industry in general and the CSD domain in particular.

In addition you should possess a strong drive to achieve result, be a good team member and be able to work efficiently both independently and in cooperation with others. You have the motivation and capacity to learn the financial domain model.

Education, Professional accomplishments 

  • Bachelor or similar  degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering.
  • At least 1-2 year experience in manual testing. Performing planning, preparation, execution, reporting activities.
  • Effective communicator, as the role will require ability to liaise with development / business teams and with clients
  • Excellent language skills in written and spoken English

Preferable

  • ISTQB Foundation level certification
  • Participation in Agile projects
  • Finance background (banking, accounting, trading, clearing)
