We are looking for a highly talented and motivated Office Manager who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment while supporting our Director of Sales (Mid-Market), Phoenix. 

As an Office Manager at Verkada, you are responsible for facilitating an exceptional office experience, providing operational support with a strong focus on customer service, while working in collaboration with the Workplace Team to provide and maintain a positive office environment. You will ensure that the day-to-day operations of the sales organization run smoothly, employees are happy resulting in high productivity and own the planning and coordinating events both internally and externally. You will be supporting the Sales Leadership team in day to day operations such as calendar management, event planning, and other ad-hoc tasks.

We are scaling aggressively and our Office Manager are a strong foundation to making sure our organization stays inclusive, safe and fun! 

This role reports directly to the Workplace Operations Lead.

Please note: this role is fully onsite in our Phoenix office; not hybrid or remote.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with Leadership to ensure our day to day operations and functions run smoothly.
  • Drive internal and external meetings - coordination, scheduling, organizing and event planning. 
  • Manage & maintain a strategic calendar: monitor & schedule calendar requests.
  • Be a strong support to leadership by taking on administrative duties to better support your executives (EX. taking notes, tracking action items, booking travel/accommodations, etc). 
  • Understand prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Ad Hoc request that supports the sales teams.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree is essential.
  • Unparalleled work ethic: a willingness to go above and beyond is key.
  • Strong attention to detail: mistakes are not your thing.
  • Project Management: you are organized, take ownership, plan & execute with a follow through before a deadline.
  • Event Planning: you enjoy coordinating, scheduling & organizing off-sites/events.
  • A proven record of excellence and top performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
