• Connect with Cargill’s In-Country and Regional Technical Resources

• Stay abreast of feed technology capabilities within Cargill as well as new or emerging technology solutions

• Understand local customers’ requirements, customer trend and potential applications of new technologies and maintain a 2 way dialog between commercial and local/regional SMT teams on ideas, barriers and applications

• Connect with local universities/researchers to ensure that we have access to the latest information and knowledge about technologies being developed that could apply to the species and the customers we serve

• Application of Cargill Technology

• Work closely with local and regional Technology Application Manager (TAM) to ensure congruence effort with Cargill’s technology deployment plans

• Work with TAM to fully understand the value of technical solutions ideas and evaluate for proper fit

• Lead the execution (applications) of new Cargill technology in coordination with SMT, Risk Management and Sourcing (RMS), Plant operation and sales

• Support the local team to address customer complaints and/or feedback

• Support Sales efforts +Training

• Provide farm level technical service towards deepening our relationship with key customers. (Breeder)

• Closely work with the sales team to find the technical opportunities.

• Train local commercial team to fully understand the technology

• Develop technical training materials for the local poultry team to ensure the proper utilization of technology.

• Keep informed of changes in the poultry and market place and competitors’ offerings

• Be the technical information resource

• Design, Update and optimize feed offering

• Select customers farm to do trials, monitor progress, field data collection for proof of performance, analyze data and review growth, efficiency and economics to identify non-conformance, design/enhance feed (right offering) and feeding programs to meet customer and market needs

• Participate design and conformance (D&C) meetings and to ensure execution of decisions and improvements

• Assist, train and engage with customers alongside with the sales team and SMT to collect POP

• Work with SMT, Sales, RMS and Operations to revise feed formulas and feeding programs guidelines

• Ability to travel and willingness to visit poultry farms of various size at least 4 days in a week

• Ability to communicate effectively at farm level and executive level

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 in Poultry nutrition, animal sciences or life sciences

• Preferable Degree in veterinarian, poultry nutrition or animal sciences,

• Minimum 2 years working experience in commercial poultry production or poultry industry, preferable Commercial Farm operations

• Fluent in English

• Poultry technical management, disease diagnosis ability

• Basic understanding of commercial farm management

• Good on farm problem solving skills

• Experience of conducting trials in commercial or semi-commercial conditions

• Good/ effective communication skills internally and externally

• Good and effective presentation skills

• Competent in statistical analysis

• Ability to lead by influence including those work remotely

• Desire to work in highly collaborative team environment

• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
