The key to our success is our people. As a Campus Recruiter in SIG, you will be responsible for finding the next generation of Traders who will ensure that we remain a leading firm in the Quantitative Trading sector.
Although the Recruitment team isn’t hiring right now, we plan to open new roles on the team in the future. We’d love to stay connected and keep you informed about future opportunities.
This role will primarily focus on hiring for our Quant internship and grad programmes. The students we hire from typically study a variety of STEM subjects across the top Irish, UK and European universities. Our Campus Recruiters are heavily involved in the selection and evaluation of candidates, so if you are looking for an impactful and dynamic recruiting role, this role may be for you.
What’s in it for you:
Dynamic Work. This role is more involved than a typical Recruiter role. You’ll be working very closely with the Hiring Managers in identifying talent and making hiring decisions. Each recruitment cycle throws up new challenges, and so the work doesn’t feel repetitive.
Great Co-workers. The Campus team works very well together – we work hard, and enjoy our success. The Hiring Managers are also some of the most talented people in the firm.
Interesting work. If you’re a numerate person, you will genuinely enjoy conducting the interviews. You will also be communicating with incredibly talents students from across Europe.
Culture. The atmosphere isn’t typical for a finance firm – it’s casual, relaxed and the office has great perks like free lunch, an in house gym and a games room.
Numerical & Logical. You will be heavily involved in interviewing candidates, which will involve asking math questions and brain teasers to candidates. You don’t need a math degree, and training will given, but you should consider yourself numerate and be comfortable with numbers.
Competitive. You enjoy working in a competitive hiring environment. The students we hire are sought after by many firms – positive candidate experience, dealing with large volumes of applicants and being able to make recruiting decisions will be at the core of this role.
Ambitious. We are always looking at what we can do better and how to improve. From Campus Events to our Selection Process, you’ll be coming up with new ideas to attract students and to make our interview process more efficient.
An Organiser. The interview season is fast paced, and being organised is key. Outside of interviews, you’ll help onboard your hires and also be involved in the running of the summer internship.
A Team Player. The Campus team is small, but effective - the ability to work collaboratively, be flexible and contribute as a team player is essential. Travel and after hours events occurs during some periods of the year.
