Job Description:

You are: 

A forward-thinking and self-motivated contributor with a strong commercial payments background in the financial services sector. You will support the development and execution of strategic planning, pricing and profitability analysis, client dispute resolution, vendor management, and analytics on performance trends. You will work across the business and with internal partners to design and analyze product performance, client communications and market intelligence.

This is a Hybrid role, with 3 days in the Tampa office required. (No relocation assistance offered.) Must be legally authorized to work in the US. Employer will not sponsor position for employment visa status now or in the future (ex. H-1B).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support management of a portfolio of payment solutions that is focused on the niche shipping, logistics, and mailing markets. 
  • Oversee bank offerings to a large portfolio of clients, ensuring successful management of product delivery, service, and operations.
  • Proactively execute Product Management activities including:
  • Identifying strategic options to drive revenue and profit expansion, including segmentation analytics within the client base and communicate the strategy to Senior Leadership of PBI and PB Bank.
  • Assessing market and customer needs.
  • Understanding and communicating the competitive landscape.
  • Managing implementation of product initiatives to position the portfolio and company for success, including communication and rollout of plan and product changes throughout the Pitney Bowes organization, gaining buy-in of key stakeholders.
  • Analyze leading indicators and portfolio metrics to understand, evaluate and forecast client behavior and trends. 
  • Develop a dashboard reporting system for ongoing monitoring of product KPI’s.
  • Product Performance Analysis: Define and track key product metrics and success criteria. Analyze product performance data including financial metrics and profitability by segments within the products, user feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and drive product profitability.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to articulate the value proposition and competitive advantages of our products and services.
  • Build and champion a world class customer delivery and experience service model.
  • Work with bank compliance and legal to ensure all regulatory requirements are met and reported on regularly with an organized archive system.
  • Support product pricing implementation including transactional / deal assessments, portfolio return and profitability analysis, and ensuring compliance with all laws / regulations.
  • Partner with stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, Client Service, and Bank Management to ensure solutions developed for problem resolution.
  • Validate new clients monthly and migrate to the appropriate pricing structure.
  • Establish and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and issue logs.

Your background:

As a Financial Services Payment Product Manager, you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA Preferred
  • 5+ years of product development/management, digital and ecommerce experience.
  • Commercial Card Product Management experience, including oversight of product development, segmentation analytics, profitability review and build by segment and overall product, market intelligence, ongoing KPI development and dashboard creation for monitoring of portfolio.
  • Strategic planning experience to develop and communicate the mission statement of the product and detailed tactics to exceed goals.
  • Experience in compliance knowledge related to small business lending and commercial cards.
  • Data analytic background with technical expertise in Excel, Power BI, and others as required.
  • Client contact experience in pricing discussions, dispute resolution, relationship building.
  • Information services or B2B product experience a plus
  • Understand the lifecycle from point-of-sale through transaction to billing.
  • Experience in digital and ecommerce space.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage and lead projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.

Preferred

  • Commercial card and/ or private label credit card experience
  • Exposure to business case development and product roadmaps.
  • Ability to assist in the development of research and utilize customer insights.
  • TSYS / Fiserv experience
  • Exposure to global business operations.

Compensation

The wage range for this position is $119,320 - $150,000 annual, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job.
