Organizational Communications Leader – Sales

This role will provide organizational communications support the approximately 3,000 sellers in Philips North America. Key job responsibilities will include all internal communications, including communications strategy and planning, consulting with top sales and business leaders on their communications approaches, written and digital communications, Town Hall meetings, guiding communications around organizational transformation and supporting employee engagement. Role will be part of the North America Brand and Communications team, where the individual will also participate in cross-business activities (annual kickoff, major trade shows, etc.).

Your role:

  • Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Distinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as record of success in relevant business process/function.
  • May have a managerial responsibilities / supervise teams.
  • Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Has expert level knowledge of company products and services and may be tasked with introducing new products/concepts.
  • Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
  • Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.
  • Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

You're the right fit if:

  • University degree (Master degree)
  • Strong experience managing complex communications processes across a matrixed organization • Strong experience communicating with multiple, diverse stakeholder groups, with proven track record in media relations beyond product PR
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Healthcare or Technology B2B, B2G Communications strongly preferred.
  • Agency management experience
  • Strong project management and organization skills and ability to lead internal and external resources
  • Ability to lead through influence and to work effectively with senior executives
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams located around the world
  • Strong ability to creatively problem solve

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is 113,641 to $209,798, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. 

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here. 

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
