Manager of Human Resources & Talent Acquisition - Speedo
The Manager of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition supports the people management functions that form the basis of the business and recruitment culture. The broad areas include: full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, training facilitation and coordination, recognition and reward programs, succession and development planning, client relationship management, implementing strategic initiatives, performance management and building talent pools.
Understand PVH Corp, brand characteristics, business strategy and business objectives.
Conduct full life cycle recruiting for all corporate/field positions across multiple disciplines.
Work collaboratively with hiring managers to understand business objectives, role requirements and desired candidate profiles.
Maintain internal ATS tools and databases with real time updates.
Monitor costs related to the recruiting efforts; insuring adherence to budget limits.
Responsible for managing all immigration related (VISA) issues. Work with outside counsel on process from recruiting to legal submission.
Provide training, coaching and general guidance to team on interviewing best practices, offer recommendations, negotiations, job offers, closing and administrative functions.
Manage employee relations issues. This includes conflict resolution, initial performance concerns, potential harassment complaints and various others.
Provide talent management expertise, workforce planning and skills assessment.
Educate supervisors and managers; monitor management actions and decisions to maintain legal and company policy compliance.
Performance Management: coaching managers on performance management issues and processes.
Learning & Development: providing guidance on development for managers and their teams.
Facilitating and coordinating training as needed.
Aid in the support and success of employee engagement programs.
Work with compensation department to ensure consistency in processes and rates.
Develop and maintain all job descriptions and org charts for positions within organization.
Manage company internship program.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
5 to 8 years of experience working in a human resources business partner role with existing or previous recruiting experience.
Knowledge of labor laws including EEO/AA Laws, FMLA regulations, employment law guidelines & policies and compliance regulations.
Exceptional people skills and experience providing counsel/feedback.
A flexible, progressive, solution-based approach to HR.
Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively on a team.
Proven ability to prioritize a heavy workload and meet deadlines.
Proficiency of HRIS systems, Microsoft office suite.
Previous experience working at a large highly matrixed company desired.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills required.
Ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels within the organization is required.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high quality of work.
A strong sense of cultural awareness and ability to work with people across the globe is desired.
Resilient and flexible; Appetite for growth, change initiatives and Change management experience desired.
Presentation skills, reporting and communication skills required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, superb organizational skills.
Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
Knowledge of Workday HRIS software desired.
Bachelor’s Degree in business, HR or related major.
