About this role 

We are looking for an experienced India Enterprise Sales Manager to drive our B2B success. This new role is based in Mumbai and will manage a team of 8 who focus on strategic and enterprise accounts. 

To support our India expansion and continue the great work already being done by the team, we need an energetic people leader to lead and develop the team, in a fast growing business. The person we’re looking for will be a successful sales professional who is also passionate about coaching and developing the team and supporting closing deals. This role will play a pivotal role in driving sales revenue, developing sales strategies and fostering a high-performance sales culture within the team. Your leadership skills, industry experience and strategic vision will be instrumental in achieving our business objectives and delivering on the team’s sales targets.

What you'll be doing

  • Sales Management - including pipeline management, accurate forecasting, team sales planning and strategy creation, QBR;s etc
  • Performance management of the team including coaching and development to ensure they'll excel in their roles
  • Collaborate cross functionally within Udemy to share insights and help us make better decisions
  • Beat revenue goals, deliver growth and drive activity levels within the team
  • Lead and develop a sales-driven culture in a high energy, dynamic, fun, fast-paced environment
  • Use data to make insightful decisions and improve processes

What you’ll have

  • Proven success in Enterprise sales within SaaS, understanding the buying cycles of large enterprise clients and navigating through complex organisational structures
  • At least 5 -7 years leading individuals and teams with a proven track record for developing, motivating, and retaining key talent
  • Strong drive for results, while retaining a focus on consistently delivering a great customer experience
  • Exceptional skills in prospecting, discovery, presentation, buying behaviours, and overcoming objections
  • A willingness to be hands on in the sales process and support the team as a coach and advocate
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to work effectively in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches - problem solver
  • Organisational agility; knowing how to get things done through formal and informal channels 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and other sales tools
