Summary:

Reporting to the Corporate Director of FP&A, this position will help manage the financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis for the Company. S/He will play a critical part in the annual planning process, quarterly & monthly reporting cycle, and management of operating expenses. Collaborates with, and advises the sales organization on evaluation of potential opportunities and credit management. This position will also provide strategic support to senior management including preparing ad-hoc analysis, financial presentations, and other projects as requested.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators highlighting key variances and exceptions.
  • Oversee the continued development of the long-term strategic financial model.
  • Develop and implement improved budgeting, forecasting, and modeling tools.
  • Identify and implement streamlined internal reporting processes including leading software implementations, where applicable.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings documents and presentations.
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for the Board of Directors and investors.
  • Oversee the budgeting, reporting and analysis of Selling, General, and Administrative costs.
  • Serve as principal finance contact for sales organization in the evaluation of potential opportunities, credit management, and deal analysis.

Other information:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution in accounting, finance, management, information systems or related field. Master’s degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years finance experience in progressively responsible positions, which may be comprised of a blend of FP&A, Business Finance, and Accounting.
  • Strong business orientation and technical competence.
  • Excellent and effective oral and written communication skills; ability to listen and extract important information; ability to assess situations, identify audit issues and offer relevant recommendations and practical solutions.
  • Must exhibit exceptional presentation skills and executive presence
  • Executive presence and influencing skills coupled with the ability to develop a mindset geared toward supporting business and company success.
  • Ability to interact comfortably with executive management.
  • Exercise good judgment and maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive or confidential matters.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution in accounting, finance, management, information systems or related field. Master’s degree a plus.
