The role

The Financial Compliance IT Specialist is a vital supporting role responsible for providing complementary IT expertise, data analytic, monitoring, in the management of risk within the organization. Critical requirement is an expertise in MS Power platforms like: Automate, Apps, BI, and good understanding of ServiceNow. Strong analytical knowledge is a must. The primary objective is to ensure the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of robust risk management practices, including internal controls, at process, systems, and entity levels.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Risk Management Practices:

The Financial Compliance IT Specialist plays a supporting role in developing, implementing, and continuously improving risk management practices within the organization. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks, assess their impact on the organization, and develop strategies to mitigate or control them effectively. These risk management practices should align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  1. Internal Controls:

The Financial Compliance IT specialist is responsible for supporting the establishment and maintenance of robust internal control systems across all business processes and functions. This includes assessing existing controls, identifying gaps or weaknesses, and implementing necessary enhancements to safeguard the organization's assets, data, and reputation.

  1. Compliance and Ethical Behavior:

Monitoring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and acceptable ethical behavior is a critical aspect of the role. The Financial Compliance IT specialist should ensure that the organization adheres to relevant financial, legal, and ethical standards.

  1. Information and Technology Security:

The Financial Compliance IT specialist will collaborate with IT and information security teams to assess and enhance information and technology security measures.

Preferred Qualification

  1. MBA Finance with 8 - 10 Years’ experience.
  2. Strong Knowledge of MS Office tools (MS Tables, Power Apps, Power automate, BI), ServiceNow experience.
  3. Good Written/Verbal Communication
  4. Stakeholder Management experience.
  5. Ability to prioritize efficiently & be flexible.
