POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

Supervise the Medical Airlift Communications Specialists

Coordination of daily operations for the Airlift Communications Center

Opportunity to help expand care to underserved communities.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordination of daily operations for the Communications Center

Audit and review Flight activations and Flight following

Oversee quality of Medical Airlift Communications Specialist’s communications and completion of documentation for flights

Will play a key role in the interview and selection process for the hiring of Medical Airlift Communications Specialists

This position will be responsible for training, scheduling and performance evaluations for the Medical Airlift Communications Specialists

As a working Supervisor this role will work to cover shifts for Medical Airlift Communications Specialist’s absences and leaves as need arises, including the possibility of varying shifts and weekend hours

Budget oversight and responsibility

Process development and improvement

Consistent monitoring of staff training and knowledge of staff’s regulatory knowledge and competency

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in business, public relations, or related field

Two years of experience in management or supervision in a health care setting

OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements
