About the role:

Now we’ve established strong market fit, LendUp plans to scale tremendously over the next 18 months. A software company at the core, we put heavy emphasis on maintaining a strong technical : non-technical ratio amongst our employees and hold a high bar for incoming technical talent. The Senior Technical Recruiter will help us attract and close strong technical talent that is mission aligned. This position reports to our Head of Technical Recruiting.

You will:

  • Work closely with technical hiring leads to recruit for our Product, Engineering and Data Science teams
  • Full-cycle recruiting - from sourcing to closing
  • Coach and mentor our Technical Recruiters and Technical Sourcers
  • Use multiple sourcing strategies to pinpoint and attract the best talent
  • Keep our ATS up-to-date and use a metrics driven approach to get results and drive progress
  • Work with our Recruiting Coordinators to schedule and manage onsite interviews and technical challenges
  • Engage and collaborate with Hiring Managers to coach interviewers, construct interview panels, and provide clear communication on the pipeline and progress

You will have:

  • At least 4 years of experience recruiting both passive and active software engineers for San Francisco based technology companies
  • A blend of agency and in-house experience preferred
  • Understanding of stock options, how to value them and how to sell them
  • Experience closing candidates with competing offers at well known companies like Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Uber etc
  • A focus on using data to drive hiring and prior use of applicant tracking systems 
  • Deep technical knowledge and relatable to developers
  • Some experience coding would be awesome!
  • Excellent closing and negotiation skills
  • Focus on candidate management and providing a white glove experience to all candidates
  • Strong passion for technology and working at a mission driven company
