We're looking for a energetic QA Engineer having strong analytical and programming skills to expand our automated functional test coverage of a renowned cloud security product. You’re responsible for continuously improving the quality of the company’s product line by preventing, quickly detecting, and validating product and process defects, to deliver market and customer driven business results. In this role you will work with anintegrated team of Developers, Product Owners for test planning, test driven development, and product validation (white and black box testing, regression validation, and user acceptance story tests).
Develop test strategy, design test plan, and test cases effectively and independently.
Be well-versed with test plans, test case preparation, test execution and consolidating test results.
Execute Functional and Regression tests for all projects assigned.
Participate in reviews of requirements, and detailed design documents.
Participate in daily scrum.
Produce and maintain test coverage reports for functional and automation coverage.
Manage the test case inventory.
Be an expert communicator and ability to work closely with the product/development teams.
Detailed Oriented and Focused with Negative testing
Participate in QA team initiatives to define and improve processes.
Should be creative and flexible to work in a dynamic environment.
Degree in ComputerScience
Certification in Software Quality or equivalent experience;
Experience working with a test team in an agile/scrum development environment both onshore and offshore.
Knowledge of Unix platform, Python, AngularJS, Mongo, ElasticSearch and AWS and cloud architecture
Experience requirement is 1 - 3 years across a broad base of IT disciplines including software design, software architecture and/or software testing
Familiarity of the underlying architecture of a multi-tier browser-based application is required, including operating systems, servers, networking, clients, and browsers
Knowledge of OAuth and Single-Sign-On is a plus
Knowledge of Jenkins or other continuous integration servers
Knowledge of Security testing experience with tools such as Burp
Experience with version control systems (we use Git)
