DHL Express China has an opening for Vice President, Human Resources.
Role purpose: Provide a broad range of Human Resources strategic and tactical interventions and support the management both locally and globally in developing a positive leadership style and skills to strengthen DHL’s position as an employer of choice. Prove HR advice and services, design HR policies and practices to ensure Human Resource in a competitive and cost-effective manner.
Main Accountabilities
- To participate as a key member of the Management team both in China and global HR management team to influence the vision and strategic direction of the company.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and develop local HR priority according to business strategy.
- Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and crucial projects to the achievement of global and regional objectives and targets.
- Lead country workforce planning and talent development plan to deal with the needs, so to ensure appropriate human capital to support business development.
- Provide guidance on organization design, review and approve organization design options according to policy, ensure maximized organizational efficiency.
- Provide guidance to regional EOS and measure staff morale and organization climate, then develop and implement effective strategies and action plans to improve employee engagement.
- Continuously improve employee experience within company and build great place to work.
In this position you need to have
- Bachelor Degree or above
- 10-15 years of relevant HR experience with at least 5 years in a senior management role, preferably in MNC
- Mastery of technical HR competencies in change management, talent development, C&B, training, and employee relations.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into HR strategy
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong partnership with multiple stakeholders
- Effective communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin ( both in written & spoken)
