The Catapult’s advanced new award-winning centre at Cannon House in Birmingham has been designed to instigate collaboration and creativity, as we undertake activities associated with the transformation of the UK energy system.
Members of the development team are encouraged to express themselves and actively participate in how we might embrace new technologies, approaches and idea’s.
This opportunity will allow you, amongst other things.
To evolve existing devops solutions to support ongoing project development activities based around a Jenkins CI pipeline, to Implement a multi-region cloud platform (AWS) monitoring solution and to define and implement a cloud platform logging strategy.
Your technical excellence and solid engineering principles, combined with a hand’s on/proactive approach will already have led you to establishing a successful track record in shaping and implementing various DevOp’s Solutions/Tools that have led to impressive results across the software development lifecycle.
We are working within a Linux AWS environment, so it will be great if you have had experience of the same, as will be proven implementation experience of Jenkins CI, Terraform and Ansible.
You may also have a solid background in Docker and integrating automated test tools with a CI pipeline e.g. Cucumber, Postman, SoapUI.
