Account Manager Sales (f/m) - Arnhem (Netherlands)

Sales Department - Vestas Central Europe 

The Sales Vestas Central Europe as one of three strategic business units for Sales within Europe, which is responsible for the Sales of new Wind Turbines out of the Vestas portfolio and the first Service and Maintenance contract in Germany, the Benelux countries, South Africa, Austria and Eastern Europe.

Vestas Benelux is a Sales Business Unit directly involved in the value chain of Vestas.

The Sales Department, consisting of 5 people, is responsible for the total order intake in the Benelux region and achievement of market shares. After order, you will hand over your project to the Construction and Service Department. Your main market will be the Netherlands or Belgium and you will be reporting directly to the Vice President Sales Benelux, Austria and Eastern Europe.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue supply sales opportunities, from initial screening and quotation through to successfully winning business  in a professional, business-minded and customer-friendly manner
  • Develop and maintain long term relationships with our customers in the energy sector and wind project developers
  • Secure customer loyalty by providing customers with optimal support and professionalism in the sales phase and by supporting the hand-over to Construction through communication and coordination
  • Achieving the commercial targets such as firm order and market shares in your area of responsibility 
  • Coordinate, facilitate and lead contract negotiations and tenders
  • Help the Service & After Sales organization in ensuring that new service contracts are signed in connection with new supply contracts
  • Ensure involvement and lead the internal sales team consisting of specialists from the Construction-, Legal-, Technical Sales- and Service Department during execution of the sales strategy
 
Qualifications:
  • University degree in engineering or business or equivalent
  • Technical affinity
  • Experiences of complex investments
  • Strong sales track record
  • Familiarity with high value contracts
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Active approach and high responsibility level
  • Fluent English and Dutch
  • Team player, highly motivated and self-driven
