The Crown Is Yours

As a Senior Business Development Associate, you will support the Business Development team in executing partnerships with leading media platforms, content networks, and talent. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders and external partners to ensure deal processes move forward efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for updating the Business Development team and senior leadership on trends and developments in the media, content, and talent space. 

What you’ll do as a Senior Business Development Associate

  • Provide regular support to the Business Development team overseeing the media, content, and talent industries.
  • Compile and track follow-ups with internal stakeholders across workstreams to ensure projects are pacing against key milestones and timelines.
  • Prepare deal summaries and strategy presentations for senior leadership.
  • Work closely with our Account Management team to ensure partnerships are achieving established KPIs and executed upon as negotiated.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key partners.
  • Monitor industry trends, news, equity research, and earnings reports to inform Business Development vertical leads and senior executives.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 3 years in investment banking, consulting, or business development roles, with a focus on consumer tech strategy, sports media, or growth operations.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, disciplined, and systems-oriented mindset.
  • A proactive approach to ensuring the right results while balancing a thorough approach to all tasks, no matter how large or small.
  • A knack for multi-tasking and order, even in the face of constant change and evolving timelines.
  • Ability to self-navigate and work autonomously with minimal instruction.
  • Highly intuitive, with strong instincts and a proven ability to take ownership of critical processes.
  • Ability to distill a multitude of opinions and viewpoints across all levels of the organization into targeted action.

We’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 83,200.00 USD - 104,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
