Manages a team of professionals responsible for complex workforce analytics initiatives. Responsible for the production and presentation of analytics findings and conducting special projects that support business strategy. Establishes consultative relationships with internal teams to gain an understanding of their strategies, objectives, and tactics to develop a comprehensive approach to the analytics and metrics that will support their decision-making needs. Provides guidance and methodology input for the regular analytical cycle for assigned team, including integration of insights into standard business and talent processes and executive presentations. Guides team on complex projects or analyses. Provides technical guidance on methods and approach. Champions and manages special projects supporting functional or business initiatives. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contributions, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Provides feedback in all directions to ensure successful outcomes and continued improvement.
Lead workforce analytics team, including managing a team of analysts, establishing analytics and modeling methodologies, and identifying and delivering results for advanced analytics projects. Establish goals and priorities for team working closely with HR leadership and head of workforce strategies. Develop strong partnerships across HR, business and technology stakeholders. Apply analytical, statistical and machine learning techniques to structured and unstructured data sets across the employee life cycle improve business and workforce outcomes. Qualifications Advanced degree in economics, statistics, computer science, mathematics or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience leading a team of analysts, including demonstrated ability to design research projects and evaluate the impact of interventions on business outcomes. Experience with data analysis, cleansing, visualization and management tools (preference for technical competency in SQL, python and R). Experience with project management of complex analytical projects (preference for Agile project management experience). 7-10 years of experience in quantitative analytics field, including 1-3 years of management experience.
