Description & Requirements

An Infor Managed Services System Consultant is primarily responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server operating system environments which includes Windows, Linux, UNIX, or iSeries depending on role in the organization. The System Consultant is responsible for the timely resolution of server operating system issues.

Basic Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or has equivalent technical training and/or work experience.
  • At least 5 years experience in Database (SQL, WinSQL), System Administration (Windows, Unix) or in related industry or software/technical support.
  • Proficient in SQL, UNIX
  • Possesses working knowledge of operating environments and basic knowledge of product functionality.
  • Advanced problem solving and analytic skills.
  • Good PC skills with knowledge of various software applications used for testing, troubleshooting, call logging, product programming.
  • Ability to verbally present complex concepts and technical information to a non-technical audience in a clear and concise manner.
  • With Customer support experience - familiarity to service management / support processes

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in System Administration with Active Directory skills; Azure and AWS experience is a plus
  • Preferably with knowledge on Landmark Technology, Infor Process Automation (IPA), Infor Operating Service
  • Flexible to work on US, EMEA and/or APAC shifts, during holidays and weekends, when necessary.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Perform customer deliverables such as deploying application patches and fixes, maintenance and management of technical application to meet ongoing availability and performance goals.
  • Provide 24X7 on-call support on weekends and off shift to production down incidents. The scheduled is being rotated to the members of the team per week.
  • Provide weekend support for production related maintenance.
  • Provide first level end user support for application fix issues or proactive requests generated through ticketing system.
  • Resolves clients' questions or problems over the telephone or Internet in the areas of system configurations/setup related to Infor’s Supply Chain Execution / Warehouse Management product.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve basic hardware and operating system issues.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding established customer satisfaction ratings and other KPIs.
  • Serves as primary support liaison between company and customer and documents incidents in required tracking systems.
