Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field
  • Working level knowledge of Perception Layers required for Highly Automated Driving inclusive of one or more of the following:
    • Sensors
    • Road Level Information
    • Obstacle Detection and Classification
    • Localization Techniques
    • Data/Information Fusion
    • Prediction Techniques
  • Ability to author System/Component level requirements
  • Strong interpersonal communication, team/leadership skills/experience
  • Sensors

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science degree from an ABET accredited university
  • Working level knowledge of visual odometry and egomotion
  • Experience with machine learning techniques
  • Working level knowledge of CAN/Vector tools for data collection and analysis
  • Experience with driving vehicles at handling limits.
  • DFSS certification — or participation in several projects start through completion
  • Experience with defining vehicle communication architectures
  • Experience in generating statement of work/scope documentation or responding to Request For Quotes
  • Familiarity with system level re-simulation (i.e. HIL or SIL)
  • Experience with automotive data recorder systems
  • Experience with C/C++ code generation
  • Machine Learning Knowledge
  • General working knowledge and previous exposure to ISO26262, SOTIF, and Cybersecurity
  • Critical Character Traits to Ensure Success:

    • Ability to multi-task
