Senior Product Designer

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on design systems and UX
• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
• Have experience applying Accessibility best practices (WCAG)
• Demonstrated expertise in Figma, including components, auto-layout, variables, and other library features
• The position requires demonstrable expertise in building, maintaining, and innovating for a global, multi-channel design system
• Your attention to detail is renowned, your design skills impeccable, and you love putting structure around difficult problems

Responsibilities

The existing Product Design System (Cobalt) is introducing a rebranded themed library for our future vision of our new brand implementation. Our existing Figma library, including components and variables, needs to be updated to reference the new theme variables (tokens). Components may require restructuring or consolidation to best support the use of variables and UX designer user efficiency.

• Work as part of the Product Design System team and the brand team
• Update and refactor existing Figma components to the new standards and foundations
• Develop reusable components like buttons, forms, and other UI elements that align with the brand guidelines
• You look for opportunities to improve the way things work
• Review and test new components to ensure seamless integration and functionality
• Work independently as well as collaboratively with the team

Ideal / Nice to Have

• 5+ years of product design experience
• 2+ years of design system experience
• 3+ years Figma experience, with a focus on developing and managing design systems
• Experience with Token Studio
• Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript framework knowledge
