Human Resources Business Partner - Shopee Xpress Vietnam, Sorting Centre

The People team plays a crucial organisational role in Shopee by channeling important resources to key functions in the company. People are key to Shopee’s growth, and as our business expands, so does the need to develop and support our employees.

Job Description:

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand their strategic goals and objectives and provide HR guidance and support to achieve them
  • Develop and implement Human Resources initiatives that align with the organization goals and values
  • Provide Human Resources expertise and support to stakeholders and employees on a variety of HR-related issues such as headcount planning, employee relations, performance management, talent development, and compensation
  • Participate in the development and execution of Human Resources programs and policies, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention initiatives
  • Analyze Human Resources metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to maximize organization capability.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure consistent and effective implementation of Human Resources programs and practices
  • Partner with managers to develop and execute people plan for key talents and for the whole team
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and maintain accurate HR records and documentation
  • Handle projects, ad-hoc assignments from upper management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a human resources role, with a focus on business partnering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide recommendations for action
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources best practices and local labor laws and regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and execute Human Resources projects from start to finish
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
