Position Overview

As a Technology Engineer Sr. you will be part of the Systems Engineering team within the Corporate and Institutional Banking (C&IB) group, reporting to an Application Manager. You will be preferably based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and your responsibilities will include architecting ESB based SOA solutions for all of C&IB, providing technical guidance to application developers, and bring subject matter expertise in the areas of SOA, ESB, and middleware technologies.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field with 7+ years related experience
• Possess an expert and thorough understanding of SOA and middleware technologies such as IIB and MQ
• Demonstrated understanding and experience in Systems Architecture
• Detailed working knowledge of distributed technologies (Java, JEE, Relational Databases, BPMS, BRMS, Content Management, Portal, Linux/Unix)
• Professional experience with planning, designing, developing, and deploying production applications (multiple platforms experience preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management and teams
• Understanding of both waterfall and Agile project methodologies
• Experience creating high level and detail design documents for consumption by a development team
• Strong Analytical, Design and Problem solving skills
