Senior Finance Manager_Shanghai SAP Greater China Region

About this role:

Greater China’s CFO Office is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to work in a result-driven and dynamic environment to capture the huge business growth opportunities in the region. This role is tasked to pro-actively partner with sales team and other functions to achieve business and financial goals via thorough data anyaltics, driving best business practicesand execution of sales motions. This role needs to effectively interact with different ranks of different functions, including MDsof Market Units, Front Line Sales Managers (FLSMs), sales team and leaders of different functions. The position holder aslo needs to navigate through multiple high level stakeholder requirements while being able to identify concrete business goals among ambiguous concepts or ideas, and effectively drive execution of business plan in a hihgly competitive market

environment. At the same time, he/she also needs to has own POV (point of views) in tackling most pressing business issues and guide internal business partners in the directions the company wants to be.

To be successful in the role, the candidate needs to possess high degree of growth mindset, agility, self-initiativeness, cross-functional collaboration, critical thinking as well as curiosityabout learning different SAP business models, sales motions, SAP technology and business KPI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic and trusted business partner for leaders of Market Units (MU) to advise deal structure of strategic deals and compliance with booking policies.
  • Support MU leaders and FLSMs in ensuring forecasting accuracy. Reinforce SAP Francise model to ensure pipeline progression and healthiness.
  • Support Customer Value Journey Assuarnce Committee to ensure cloud revenue quality, and drive adoption and consumption.
  • Partner with diHerent GTM functions, and various Finance and Operations functions to ensure alignment on business strategies and execution across the entire organization.
  • Perform research, analysis and modeling for GTM initiatives and execution of business plan. Partners and solicit insight from business and commercial stakeholders.
  • Conduct business and financial analysis to identify causes of variances. Provide business leaders support to formualte actionable solutions to issues. Collaborate with other functions to ensure execution of plan and accoutability of results.
  • Engage with partners and customers to better understand market opportunities and challenges, as well as identify business risks. Collect customer and partner feedback and deploy data analysis techniques to improve customer experiences. Design and negotiate solutions to complex financial issues with customers. Strive balance among customer centricity, sales enablement, business discipline, cost eHectiveness and SAP interests.
  • Partner with business leaders to define actionable plans to achieve business and financial goals. Provide business insights and collablorate with peers from Finance and other functions to build holistical end to end processes to achieve specific business goals and drive shareholder return.
  • Support business leadesr by applying advanced undestanding of SAP company widestrategy to tap into growth opportunities and manage risks and adverse eHects of marco-economics/geo-political tensions. Maintain working knowledge of SAP Finance systems, policies and processes to evaluate potential impact of changes, and drive improvement in eHiciency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal and regulatory requirements with an indepth understanding of business issues and advocate of workaround solutions.Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Adminstration or any related field
  • Master Degree/CPA is preferred but not a must.
  • Mininum of 10 years in strategic finance, business partnering and project management roles.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Proved ability to make business recommendation based on understanding of business strategy and financial analysis.
  • Experienced in integrating various data sources into a big data and assimilatinginformaton into clear and comprehensive narrative to support business decisions. Be able to articulate issues and solutions in a concise and convincing manner.
  • Equipped with collaboration and leadership skills to empower and influence diHerent level of stakeholders.
  • Good command of English
