Job Description

The Senior Product Manager, Digital Health Platform will play a crucial role in driving the expansion and evolution of our Health Platform Services. This role is critical to our strategic direction and future growth, with the objective to providing our members a rewarding, seamless, and outcome-driven healthcare experience. The position involves leading our partnership initiatives, managing key health platform integrations, and continuously driving our Digital Health Platform Vision.

Individual Responsibilities:

  • 1. Health Platform Partnership Initiative Delivery (50%): Drive the successful delivery of health platform partnership initiatives by ensuring alignment strategic objectives
  • 2. Health Platform Partner Management (10%): Manage relationships with existing partners and forge new strategic alliances, ensuring smooth collaboration and the integration of services

Shared Responsibilities:

  • 1. Health Platform Partnership Roadmap Planning and Prioritization (20%): Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to plan and prioritize the health platform partnership roadmap, aligning with strategic objectives
  • 2. Health Platform Integration and Development (20%): Lead the continuous development and integration of the Digital Health platform, ensuring seamless user experience, scalability, and business alignment.

Job Requirements:

Partnering internally with Manulife’s cross-functional teams and externally with healthcare partners, you will build, prioritize, and implement digital health partnership opportunities:

1. Drive the development, prioritization, and implementation of digital health partnership opportunities in collaboration with Manulife's cross-functional teams and external healthcare partners

2. Identify, scope, prioritize, and implement platform integration initiatives based on business value and strategic objectives

3. Partner with product, design, and engineering leaders to devise cross-functional platform service strategies

4. Develop and lead detailed execution and integration plans across enterprise-wide, cross-functional teams, as well as key third-party partners

5. Provide thought leadership on identifying key players and growth opportunities within the overall health ecosystem

6. Ensure an exceptional digital customer experience, alongside with data-driven recommendations as part of members accessing Manulife's Health Platform services

Competencies:

  • 1. Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience, including digital product partnership, platform development, integrations, or comparable roles
  • 2. University degree. An MBA or other business-oriented education would be beneficial.
  • 3. Comprehensive understanding and experience with platform services, integrations, architecture, and/or assets
  • 4. Proven experience integrating and scaling services and solutions
  • 5. Demonstrated ability and confidence to deliver and present to senior leadership
  • 6. Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical issues into understandable concepts
  • 7. Exceptional relationship-building skills to forge effective working relationships with business unit leaders, and external partners
  • 8. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple competing priorities, and adapt to changing demands
  • 9. High level of self-motivation with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
  • 10. Highly developed financial acumen and business orientation
  • 11. Bonus: Experience with implementing Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)

Decision Authorities:

  • 1. Health Platform Partnership Assessment and Business Case Development: Lead the evaluation and business case development of potential health platform partnerships.
  • 2. Digital Health Partnership Roadmap Planning and Prioritization: Direct the planning and prioritization of the digital health partnership roadmap.
  • 3. Digital Health Platform Integration and Development: Oversee the integration and development of the digital health platform, ensuring business alignment and seamless user experience.

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location

Toronto, Ontario

Salary range is expected to be between

$84,375.00 CAD - $151,875.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
