Global Business Services (GBS) provides clients with consulting, application management services and global process services. These professional services deliver business value and innovation to clients through solutions which leverage industry, technology and business process expertise. GBS is the digital reinvention partner for IBM clients, combining industry knowledge, functional expertise, and applications with the power of design, cognitive and cloud. The full portfolio of GBS services is backed by its globally integrated delivery network and integration with IBM solutions and services including Watson, Cloud, Blockchain, and Technology Services. To deepen its capabilities, in 2016, IBM acquired four consulting and design firms to enhance the GBS global network of 35 digital experience design studios. IBM also announced Watson IoT Consulting Solutions, a new practice that brings together IBM’s industry and technical expertise to help clients introduce IoT innovation into their businesses.

The role of a Cognitive Process Service (CPS) Line leader is to provide thought leadership to the industry. Someone who is a blend of advisory, design and implementation to be able to provide end to end solutions to the client and value to the client business.  In your role, you will strategise to dominate the market with exceptional and relevant business process outsourcing and automation solutions with an aim to be a trusted advisor with clients.
You will be responsible for revenue generation, capability building, building relationships, creating a brand for self and IBM. The key CPS practice areas include:
 

  1. Finance process services
  2. Procurement process services
  3. Cognitive process automation

 
The service line brings competencies around process outsourcing, business process automation, defining and implementation of target operating model for shared services.
 
Your primary responsibilities encompass the following: -

  • Define roadmaps in collaboration with CXOs, and drive alignment across all stakeholders
  • Define new offerings/modify existing offerings to suit the needs of ISA clients and sharpen the value proposition
  • Develop a compelling value proposition for clients to adopt new service delivery models in the areas of Finance & Accounting and Procurement.
  • Build teams and develop skills in the domain of process outsourcing and automation.
  • Work closely in building partnerships with key ISVs in the automation domain and develop joint programs
  • Manage the portfolio of projects and timely intervene to grow profitability and minimize losses
  • Should be able to travel to engage with clients and teams.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in leading an end to end cycle of F&A and/or Procurement function outsourcing in an India to India scenario. This would entail crafting the Operating Model, designing the retained and outsourced organization, planning and executing the transition and change management strategies.
  • Highly proficient in the new ways of working for F&A and Procurement functions -  demonstrated through good understanding of Analytics, Blockchain and Cognitive technologies in these domain to drive efficiencies and improve experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in process outsourcing and service delivery in the India market - crafting and executing a strong India to India process outsourcing, service delivery strategy and assessing business impact of outsourcing solutions, operating model definitions, process transition strategies and actions to stabilize the new service delivery model.
  • Successfully led benefit & SLA linked outsourcing projects and delivered agreed client benefits.
  • Deep experience in at least one of Chemical/Petroleum/Gas, Retail, Banking, Insurance industries.
  • Experience in all phases of the consulting life cycle – Offerings Management, Consultative Selling and Project Delivery.
  • Proven ability to prepare and deliver high impact presentation to engage with senior client stakeholders, and be accepted as a trusted business advisor by the client to advise them on the value proposition and present to the board during Orals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
