Associate Analysts in the IT Security role are primarily responsible for 24x7 monitoring of the Franklin Templeton Security & Network infrastructure. They respond to potential incidents and perform incident first action within agreed SLA’s. This role applies technical skills to a variety of IT technologies, computing systems, programs, systems and networks. They coordinate with other technical support groups to drive problems towards remediation. They also provide service improvement recommendations basis trending analysis. It is essential for them to integrate and share information within the team.
JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualified candidates will have at least one year of experience on technology platforms such as computer systems, networks, applications – with a focus on customer support & problem ticket resolution. Must have a good understanding of incident/problem/change management. Experience with Microsoft Office suite; especially MS Excel for reporting & automation via macros. Must understand importance of SLA’s, KPI’s and other contributing factors that drive success for team and organization. Must be a great team worker and be able to work with global teams, different time zone, etc. It is essential to collaborate/partner with other internal support teams and/or vendors to drive problem towards remediation.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Desirable qualifications include information security certifications (such as CISSP) and work experience in the financial services industry
