Dollar Shave Club (DSC) is looking for an awesome Finance Director/Sr Manager for our Europe Finance team located in Amsterdam reporting to DSC VP FP&A. Startup DSC Europe Finance: Be the founding member of the DSC Finance team in Europe and have the opportunity to define and shape the structure, future talent and operating rhythm for the team.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead FP&A including financial reporting, financial planning (long and short term) covering income statement, balance sheet and cash flow. Lead bottom-up forecasting for the business by becoming intimately familiar with business KPIs and drivers that determine financial performance. To this point, the successful candidate can “see the forest from the trees” and operate at 45k ft level when needed but also at lower altitude and be close to the details of finance.
Customer & Marketing Analytics: Lead the analytical agenda to understand customer growth (ie. acquisition economics) and customer monetization (retention, repurchase and upsell) working closely with our marketing and digital product team.
Accounting: Partner with the HQ Accounting team to ensure the delivery of the 2-day accounting close and the accuracy of the financial statements.
Communicate: Communicate the state of the business (the “what” and the “why) to key audiences in the organization. This can range from a recurring weekly update to presenting your findings to an exec audience. Presentations are substantial, tailored to the audience, impactful and professional
Business partner: become be a trusted business partner to key leaders in our organization. In this role you will be partnering with DSC EU GM and his team of senior leaders to help them make better/faster decisions and help them be successful<>
