Collaborating with cross-functional global and regional teams, you implement brand strategy that is aligned with our brand vision to drive sustainable growth and to deliver business objectives. You also support profit and loss management and future business development plans and objectives, including new product development and platform opportunities. 

How you will contribute

You will work with others to execute the brand strategy for designated brands, develop product and packaging initiatives, implement pricing strategies, and plan and execute integrated marketing communication and media plans. You will also provide recommendations for integrated commercial plans and provide input and support in the development and execution of marketing plans to ensure they meet revenue, profit targets, sharing objectives and monitoring performance. Based on your strong understanding of consumer insights, brand strategy and positioning, you will help develop integrated marketing communications and 360 degree campaigns.

More about this role

As an Assistant Brand Manager, you will have exposure to all the activities the BM has and will have growth opportunities in this direction. 

  • You will work with BM for the preparation of local strategies and plans development as per annual planning cycle, ensuring qualitative input is provided in all marketing mix elements for responsible brands/product segments/projects 
  • You will be part of the project team for all packaging changes/ initiatives relevant to your brand segment and will be responsible to ensure that all relevant information necessary for the project from a marketing perspective is submitted. 
  • You will develop together with BM the brand plans and will be responsible for leading the implementation of the agreed communication plan for your brand segments/projects, including creative productions, media agency management and cross-functional coordination. 
  • You will perform on-going monitoring and evaluation of campaign results and make proposals for on-going improvements 
  • You will participate in agency management briefing and evaluation process. 
  • You will support the development of the Media Flowchart relevant for your brand segments/projects which is led by the Media team and monitor their implementation. 
  • You will be responsible for developing brand consumer promotions for your brands segments/projects according to the brand strategy and will be responsible for the implementation of the agreed promotional plan. 
  • You will monitor, measure and support corrective actions for business performance for your specific brand segment against a set of KPIs: Volume, Revenue, Gross Profit, A&C (Advertising & Consumer Spending), Net Contribution, share of market 
  • You will closely manage monthly and yearly budget.

The position is open in Chocolate Tablets team, reporting to Marketing Lead.

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree is mandatory, Bachelor’s degree in Marketing is a plus; Marketing Certificates are a plus 

Job specific requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year work experience in a Marketing related domain is highly appreciated. 
  • Fluency in English, oral and written, is mandatory. 
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. 
  • Good presentation skills. 
  • Ability to make things happen on time and in full. 
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability. 

Travel requirements:

For this position travelling is not required.

Work schedule:

Hybrid model of working, 3 days/week working from the office & 2 days from home.

Flexible hours.

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
