In this demanding and fast-paced environment, we are looking for a Data Analyst who will be part of Market Intelligence team, one of the most fast developing business line. At Market Intelligence we help our clients from tech & durables industry to understand the dynamics of their marketplace. Up-to-date retail sales data reveal how products are performing in the market – ongoing. In order to get in time, in quality & relevant data we need you to make the difference proving our client reliable data to sustain their business decisions.

Joining the team that works with top players in the retail, you will help our partners to adapt their business to actual challenges. You will be responsible with making significant contributions to proposals and delivering actionable insights to clients.

As a Data Analyst, you will have following key accountabilities: 

  • Build Knowledge of GfK Tools: develop good knowledge of GFK internal tools
  • Data Review: understand the data management process and work effectively within it. Carry out quality check analysis to spot suspicious deviations in the data received from retailers, in all the fazes of the process.
  • Retailer panel Management – maintain up to date the retailers information in our systems
  • Query Handler: ability to investigate and resolve data queries raised by clients or the internal Market Intelligence (MI) team. 
  • Cross department communication: Maintaining relationships internally with colleagues from Client Service, Retail Service and hub.

Now you know what a Data Analyst does, what skills, qualifications & experience do you need?

  • You have a university degree in either Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • You have experience in a similar position, as an active data analyst professional
  • You are a data enthusiast with MS Office skills, especially advanced Excel user skills
  • You are proficient in English - B2 level - cooperation with colleagues around the world
  • You have a keen attention to detail: some work will be complex in our analysis system and we must strive to avoid mistakes / check work is 100% right before delivery
  • You have problem solving skills: why does data come out like it does, what needs to be changed to get the data as it wished for
  • You prove to have prioritization, organization and time management skills with a flexible approach
  • You can juggle multiple projects at once
  • You have the ability to learn new systems
  • You are results orientated and you have the ability to work to benchmarks and Key Performance Indicators
