The opportunity

With numerous business opportunities in the market, FleishmanHillard’s Jakarta office is expanding. We are looking for a seasoned practice leader with deep experience in Corporate Communications. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to build and maintain relationships with top Indonesia clients. What you’ll do

  • Contribute to the growth and development of a portfolio of corporate clients and public affairs projects;
  • Develop and implement integrated communications programs with a 360-degree approach (across earned, paid, owned and shared channels) to raise the profiles of existing corporate clients;
  • Conceptualize original and compelling media angles to feature client organizations and secure media opportunities with top-tier international and local business media to drive outstanding media outcomes; Provide strategic counsel to clients on matters in relation to reputation management, industry positioning, corporate narrative, and crisis communications; 
  • Continuously prospect for new business, from both new and existing clients; 
  • Project Management; manage projects by setting priorities, maintaining deadlines, managing team workflow, deliverables, and client expectations; 
  • Leverage your relationships with regional and local business media; 
  • Coordinate regional projects with other offices in Asia; 
  • Ensure that clients’ strategic objectives are met;

What you’ll need

  • At least fifteen (15) years of experience in an agency or corporate communications department; experience in managing the communication programs of organizations, including corporate profiling, brand and reputation management, public affairs, and/or crisis handling experience;
  • Excellent business development acumen, client servicing skills, strong management, thought leadership and creativity in problem solving;
  • Superb research, analytics and writing skills; experience drafting client and press materials;
  • Seasoned media relations skills; experience working with regional and national financial media;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and focus on results; positive and professional disposition in every situation – to the clients and the agency key leadership;
  • A point of view, and a proven ability to propose solutions and present ideas in a persuasive and compelling manner.
