Texas Instruments is seeking Manufacturing Technician Interns to join our team.
Equipment technician interns will be responsible for performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. In this role you will utilize diagnostic equipment and various vendor documents to isolate and repair malfunctions.
Process technician interns will be responsible for performing technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers. Once the product is on the line, the process technician monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators. Process technicians also test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
This technician will be an invaluable part of the team, interfacing and communicating with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a certificate or AAS program in Electrical Engineering Technology with a thorough understanding of vacuum, RF, AC/DC and digital electronic theory, and the ability to assemble, disassemble and reassemble complex mechanical assemblies, are desired. Work may involve repetitive motion and some heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs).
Location: Lehi, Utah
Pay: This is an hourly position. Earn *$23.62/hr. **Listed hourly rates are calculated by dividing total daily earnings (straight time pay + overtime pay + shift differential, if applicable) by 11.6 hours including 2 paid breaks
Shift: Work 12 hour shifts on a fixed, compressed schedule, allowing for 3-4 days off in a row and built in overtime.
