Overview:

In this role Lead Engineer (Electronic Controllers, Advanced Structures) actively participate in NPI, redesign and sustenance activities of Electronics LRUs used for Advanced Structures product line.

Position: Lead Engineer-P2

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Experience in leading an electronic product design and development projects
  • Good knowledge on electronic product design and development process, from requirement till delivery
  • Strong fundamentals in Semiconductor switches (MOSEFT, IGBT), Gate drivers, Passive components, ADC/DAC, Filters, connectors, PCBs, Parasitic and magnetic components
  • Hands on experience with Power estimations, thermal management solutions and their implications on EMI/EMC
  • Strong experience in handling High Voltage(>270Vdc) & Current(>50A) products
  • Hands on experience with any one of the Power converter design and analysis (AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC, AC-AC) in the <10KW power.
  • Strong understanding of Sensing and protection circuits and schemes (Over voltage, Over current, Over temperature etc.)
  • Understanding Grounding schemes related to (Functional, safety isolations, Low level signal vs high power ), EMI/EMC, Lightning.
  • Hands on experience with Mentor graphics Schematics & Layout tools, LT spice, MATLAB simulations, Mathcad & Excel analysis 
  • High frequency magnetic design, preferably in flyback transformer design
  • Good knowledge on isolation standards and techniques
  • Experience in mathematical analysis such as power supply for stability, different types of power supply feedback loop and compensation design techniques, DFMEA

. Experience in power supply related PCB layout, EMC, thermal design

  • Fundamentals of electronics components, analog and digital circuits
  • Experience in serial protocol such as CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, etc.
  • Expert in using lab test equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope, data logger

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Industry experience in electronics system design and development
  • BE/B-tech/M-Tech in Electrical /Electronic Engineering
  • Solid communication, writing skills and teaming skills are a must
