About the role: We are currently looking for a result-oriented and self-driven individual to join our team. As a Finance and Administration Manager you will be responsible for oversees the day-to-day financial operations of Japan office and reports to the VP, Finance to managing the financial health and practices aligned with the global policies and compliance. The position provides financial advisory, produce financial documents and reporting and collaborates closely with other departments to achieve the company’s goals.

As a Finance and Administration Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Manage the month end closing and financial management reports including AR and AP timely and accurate based on the Company’s policies and timelines.
  • Prepare reports and ensure compliance with relevant local accounting, auditing, and external reporting requirements.
  • Manage and records timely the intercompany charges and transactions.
  • Work closely with various departments to provide timely and professional financial advisory and support.
  • Providing analysis and strategic insight to senior management on a proactive and as-requested basis.
  • Produce legal documents in accordance with the law firm’s instruction.
  • Manage the local office’s administration with facilities department if needed.
  • Ad hoc reporting and tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  • Prepare various business activity reports and tax filing reports, financial statements, budget, and forecasts.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Business Management.
  • More than 8 years’ experience in financial analysis and reporting experience
  • Relevant accounting qualification
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills in English and local language
  • Self-driven and work independently with limited supervision
  • Result-oriented, have good cooperation and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
