Azure Resource Manager’s (ARM) mission is to provide the control plane to Azure. Azure Resource Manager (ARM) is the distributed service that customers use to manage all resources (compute, storage, networking, SQL, etc.) in Azure. It is a high scale platform processing billions of requests daily. All of the experiences in Azure (portal, command line, SDKs, etc) build on top ofAzure Resource Manager (ARM). ARM’s vision is to enable any customer (large to small) to organize, govern, secure, manage and explore their environments at-scale. Anything we design, develop, or deliver aligns with this vision.
We are looking for a skilled Azure Resource Manager Principal Software Engineer to serve as a technical leader on the team. The successful candidate is someone who can help define service strategy and provide technical leadership to engineers on the team. As Azure continues to grow, we need to push the limits of distributed systems to handle the increasing load on our system. Working on Azure Resource Manager is a great opportunity to build your cloud skills. This is a project with the potential for engineers to have a very large impact on the Azure business.

Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
